I regularly give invited conference presentations and workshops at schools and universities. This really is one of the most pleasurable aspects of my job, as I get to travel and meet new people, and generally I learn a lot myself too. Having worked in many different countries and educational contexts, I can take my experiences and share them with others. I love playing this intermediary, facilitative role.
For a list of recent plenary and keynote presentations, workshops, and lectures, have a look on this page.
The areas I regularly speak on include: the role of technology in education, languages across the curriculum, learner and teacher autonomy, supporting international students, and mobile learning. This list is not exhaustive, and I am happy to consider other topics as well.
