Introduction

To me the greatest attraction of an academic career, apart from my interest in education and languages, is the opportunity to meet new people, to exchange ideas, and to work on new developments in learning and teaching. I love the challenge of projects and working towards innovation in education, especially (although not exclusively) with the use of technology. At certain times during the year, therefore, I keep myself available for lecturing, research, and development. On the pages below you can find out some more information about my previous work and my current interests. Please feel free to contact me with questions. I use a flexible pricing system depending on the location of the host institution (I apply the United Nations Development Index as a guideline), so even if your institution is not located in an affluent country, please feel free to contact me.

I also work with individual students, for example for external PhD supervision, and price accordingly.

I have a busy job in London so my time is limited, but feel free to contact me to see if our times and interests might align.

I look forward to hearing from you.

“An expert is a person who has made all the mistakes that can be made in a very narrow field.”
- Niels Bohr, Danish physicist and Nobel Prize winner.

Here is a short video interview on a breakfast TV show in Pakistan. This was during the Aga Khan ELT conference in April this year.
