David Gardner has just made a free book titled ‘Fostering Autonomy in Language Learning’ available. The papers in this publication started life as presentations at the conference supported by the AILA Research Network on Learner Autonomy in June 2010 entitled ‘If we had to do it over again: Implementing Learner Autonomy in the 21st Century’, held at Zirve University, Turkey.
The papers have since undergone a process of change based on: peer-feedback at the conference, peer-review and editing.
